nVidia Driver question
Sometimes windows tries to fight you this way installing drivers! I've even had to "pick all hardware" and ignore the "this driver may not work" warnings to get drivers installed. -- OK, I fixed it. I clicked on "show a list of drivers in a specific location" and there was the Nvidia driver in the list.

I have been trying to update my nVidia nForce sound drivers without too much success. I have 6.14.366.0 WHQL (02SEP03) drivers installed at this time. They work ok, it's just I don't have any tone controls. So I figured I would update to the 4.27 WHQL(19Jul04) drivers from the nVidia site.

I have manually deleted upt to 20 more files - first checking them to make sure they are nVidia driver files. No problems but just be careful. Rather than blindly deleting them,, move them to a holding folder, run your system for a while and see what happens. If it runs sweet, dump them... Each time somebody says
